WORK WITH US - OPEN POSITIONS | PROGRAM MANAGER
FAMILY Movement, Inc. (FM) seeks a Program Manager to oversee our programs to stabilize families experiencing homelessness.The Program Manager will assist with implementing all aspects of FM’s clientele, including grant writing, and client successes as assigned. This position provides a great opportunity for professional growth and will allow the right candidates to use a diverse range of skills and experience, while working as a key member of a collaborative team.
The Program Manager will report to the Executive Director. The Program Manager will connect with shelter staff, transitional families, and selected members of the Board of Directors.
Assignments are determined and based on the candidate’s strengths and passion.
Background:
Founded in 2008 and affiliated in 2010, FAMILY Movement, Inc. (FM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to building stronger communities by mentoring tools through a holistic approach to move families from homelessness to homeownership. FM has given hope to local homeless and transitional residents in the form of Forgiveness, Acknowledgement, Motivation, Inspiration, and Love within Yourself to help build a stable family.
Responsibilities include:

Supporting creation and dissemination of FM’s annual appeal via strategy;

Oversee logistics associated with shelter staff, clients and transitional families via 6 month contracts

Interviewing FM program participants for testimonials and success stories;

Researching resources for families
-
Tracking success rate reports on a monthly basis prior to board meeting

Meet bi-weekly with team for family updates

Managed shelter, transitional and H2H budget
-
Other related tasks, as necessary
An ideal candidate:

Possess a high level of organizational skills and be detail-oriented;

Possess strong analytical and writing skills;

Possess the ability to communicate in a professional manner with press and community contacts;

Be skilled at a variety of computer skills, e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat are mandatory;

Possess the ability to function independently and as an active team member;

Possess the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines;

Manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity; and
-
Possess passion in a nonprofit career - particularly building families and community out of poverty.

3+ years experience and/or education in Non-profit industry
Time commitment:
Part-time: 10 hours work week

Compensation:
$25/hour
